Randy Stafford began playing racquetball at age 14 and continues to play after 42 years on the court. In addition to playing on the Pro Tour for 4 years during the Tour’s beginning in the early 1970’s, Randy won numerous State, Regional and National awards.
During college he authored the second book written on racquetball, “Racquetball: The Sport for Everyone.” In 1976 he earned a BS in Finance from the University of Memphis. After college he formed The Court Company, a business that has been building racquetball courts for the past 34 years. Randy designed and built the portable glass stadium court that has been used at the US Open Racquetball Tournament for the past 12 years.
During 6 years on the Board of Directors of USA Racquetball, Randy served as USAR President for 4 years. Currently his passion for racquetball has led him, along with Dr. Shannon Wright, to develop the new United States Racquetball Foundation, ensuring that racquetball has a bright and sustainable future.
